41. Hey, Mister! Black-Eyed Spooks, and a Little Trauma For Spice

For our Halloween episode this year, we're doing something a little different! As you may know, we all love to write... and we all loveee horror. So this week Rose, Meg, and Anna have written short stories to read aloud for extra spooks and scares. This episode features "A Cryptid In Your Closet???" by Rose Horell; "S'mores" by Meg Brennan; and "More Red" by Anna Schroeder. Happy Halloween!!

Back at it again with another spooky season episode! Meg talks the haunted Myrtles Plantation where there are a lot of spirits who like to make appearances in mirrors and windows. Rose talks Furbies, a really creepy children's toy that may or may not try to kill you in your sleep. And finally, Anna gives us another physics lesson for dummies and chats about portals, which are a very freaky concept. We apologize for the low-energy episode, but the stories definitely make up for it! This week Meg covers some horrifying Ouiji Board tales (seriously, why do they sell these at Walmart?), and Rose also brings the spooks, talking about shadow people who like to lurk in corners and maybe perform Thriller outside your window? Anna wraps up by discussing the theories surrounding the death of the infamous and oh-so-quirky gangster/notorious bank robber, John Dillinger. We head into October aka HALLOWEEN MONTH after this episode, so brace yourselves for some extra spooky stories and a couple of exciting new episodes mwahahahaa!

In which Meg drinks an entire bottle of wine, editing Rose teeters dangerously close to the edge of a mental breakdown, and Anna tries hopelessly to keep us on track. Anna wraps up with a part two of Mandela Effects, definitively proving that Meg and Rose know absolutely nothing about geography (c'mon guys, everyone knows where New Zealand is).
