Australia's National Film and Sound Archive has inducted new pieces of audio into its Sounds of Australia collection, including Missy Higgins' 2004 song 'Scar', Marsha Hines' 1977 hit 'You', and the pedestrian crossing button sound introduced in 1984. The collection also includes Jack Carlson's 1991 'Democracy Manifest' arrest footage, which gained renewed popularity through YouTube after his arrest for alleged credit card fraud.
