EP.206 Walking the Fairways - feat. Jarrod Castle (Rich River Golf Club)
Walking the Fairways segment of The Golfing Greenkeeper Podcast is proudly brought to you by Dint Golf Solutions and you can check out their website www.dint.com.au.
I'm joined by Superintendent of Rich River Golf Club, Jarrod Castle. Jarrod jumps on the podcast to let us know about some significant course upgrades that have begun on the property beginning with the East Course, along with plans for their West Course. The club has engaged golf course architects Harrison Golf who will no doubt work to bring the best out of the property and set the club up well for the future.
I also have updates from a number of other regional golf clubs that are doing work to improve their courses including Newcastle, Nelson Bay, Oberon, and Fairbairn. Along with news coming from Tasmania Golf Club and the new Hogan Gully project in Arrowtown, New Zealand.
Oh, and it turns out I'm searching for the highest tee to green golf hole elevation drop in Australia! Help me out if you can.
You hit 'em clean and we'll keep 'em green!
