Spilling the Tea Reading Recap - 10/22/2025

On this week's episode, we dive into all of our most recent reads. In a crazy turn of events, Katie has actually been reading more than Teresa. Teresa is still on her 'Red Rising' journey and of course Katie is continuing on her witchy/horror/thriller quest.

On this week's episode we dive in Dan Brown's newest release, The Secret of Secrets, that follows Robert Langdon on an adventure around Prague trying to solve the mystery of why Katherine Solomon's manuscript is being deemed a national security threat and has in turn put their lives at risk. We are bth HUGE Dan Brown fans, and this book delivered on all the reasons why we find his writing to be so entertaining. This book varies a lot from the previous Robert Langdon books as it focuses primarily on Katherine's area of expertise, noetic science, instead of Robert's area of expertise, symbolism and history. This book really made us self reflect and asked a lot of philosophical questions about the world and how we function within it.

TRIGGER WARNING NEGATIVE REVIEW INCOMING Unfortunately, on this week's episode we discuss Wild Card by Elsie Silver and let's just say we do not have anything positive to say about this one.
