A.I. EP. 310: “It’s All Happening” - Almost Famous 25th Anniversary

This last week was the first week of the NFL season and to celebrate we decided to chat about a football film that we both adored from the year 1991, Necessary Roughness. We quote it to this day and thought it was about time we broke down this movie. Hope you enjoy!

We got Abe Sword to come back to the pod and talk about one of his favorite Coen Brothers films, Miller’s Crossing, which happens to be turning 35 this year. It was a great time rewatching and breaking this film down with Abe. Enjoy!

This is the first time we've ever done a live version of the pod in front of an audience! The Replacements is a movie that probably isn't amazing but it's one that we both enjoyed watching many times. We both were still playing high school football when this came out, so it had a pretty big impact on us. And pretty sure that this is the first film we've discussed since Gene Hackman's passing. This one features just the two of us. Enjoy!

The film that introduced Hugh Jackman as Wolverine just turned 25 this year. One of our favorite comic-book aficionados, actor J.Michael Trautmann, helped us out and broke down this film with us. We had a great time with him and he shared some entertaining insights. Enjoy!

Our buddies Jessie Pellowski and Kate Duncan graced us with their presence to reminisce about the 30 year old film, Heavyweights. We had some hot takes and an unhealthy amount of laughs. Enjoy!

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s Benny Elledge coming back for a second consecutive week to talk about one of his favorite franchises of all time, Superman. We all went to the theater opening weekend to see what James Gunn came up with and recorded an episode on it immediately. Hope you enjoy!

To wrap up our trip through the Back to the Future trilogy, we brought back our beloved frequent guests, Benny Elledge & Renegade. We always have a great time with these fellas and hope you enjoy hearing us discuss Back to the Future Part III.
