A.I. EP. 302: “Remember, Where You’re Going, There Are No Roads” - Back to the Future Part III 35th Anniversary

To wrap up our trip through the Back to the Future trilogy, we brought back our beloved frequent guests, Benny Elledge & Renegade. We always have a great time with these fellas and hope you enjoy hearing us discuss Back to the Future Part III.

We're pretty sure that we have never done an episode on Back to the Future Part II before, but had you asked us last week if we'd done an episode on Back to the Future we would have been wrong...All that being said, we were very happy to have Adam Rupp come back on the pod and chat about this awesome sequel. We've released well over 300 episodes over the last 6+ years and this is the very first time that we've tried to do an episode on a film that we've already recorded an episode on. Thankfully we had Nate Stone on back in July of 2020 and minutes before we were about to record the other day, Nate informed us that we had already recorded an episode on Back to the Future for it's 35th anniversary 5 years ago. So...we decided to record how we were feeling about the mishap and then re-releasing what we said about the film 5 years ago. We will be covering Back to the Future Part II next week and Back to the Future Part III the week after that, and it looks like we haven't recorded those yet! Enjoy the re-released episode...

Sandra Bullock's hilariously charming Miss Congeniality is 25 years old and we decided to go along on this ride by ourselves. Cue up Bill Withers' "Just The Two Of Us." We had a hoot chatting about this film, hope you enjoy!

The 1996 Best Picture Oscar Winner turns 30 this year and this was a big film for us back in the day. It was also a big film for our guest and friend, Benny Elledge. It was a great time breaking down this film with him. Enjoy!

The MCU is back babyyy! Thunderbolts was a great time and we had an even better time talking with Reilly Zamber about it and recording it and posting it for you to hear! Enjoy!

We’ve done quite a few episodes on Tom Hanks movies and if they’re from the eighties or early nineties, chances are we’ve brought on our good buddy Abe Sword. We kept that streak alive and brought Abe back to talk about Joe Versus the Volcano. He got the job and did the job well. Enjoy!

The second film of Ben Affleck's directing career, The Town, is 15 years old. We loved this movie and brought along a recurring guest, Luke Pierce, who also happens to love this movie. We had a great time breaking this film down with Luke and maybe trying out some not so great Boston accents in the process. Enjoy!

It’s time for another movie game night and we thought we’d bring in some folks we’ve never had on the pod before, some UMD Alumns who were part of the theater department. Rob was in productions of Sweeney Todd and Guys & Dolls with them and partook in many many fun nights playing poker and making good decisions as college kids. We’ve had Dave Hauer on the pod before but never for a movie game night, and making their Avid Indoorsmen debuts are Matt Salmela and Dan Bigwood. We had a lot of fun. Enjoy!

Road Trip turns 25 this year and we talked about this film quite a bit during our Eurotrip episode with Neil Ghosh, so we knew we had to have him come back and break this film down with us. It was a great decision, we had the best time. Enjoy!
