A Life Changing Hunting Trip- STL on Safari

Jordan I just got back- as in, got back yesterday- from a week-long safari in Zululand with Garry Kelly Safaris. I am not exaggerating when we say it was a life-changing experience. In this episode we talk with Cullen Kelly and Murray Clayton, our to PHs (professional hunters) for this trip about some of the adventures and hunts we got into. The most important part of this conversation to me, however, is when we go over some of the biggest and common misunderstanding about African hunting, especially in South Africa. Summertime is here but do not fret, my friends, there is still plenty to get into and talk about. The Mississippi Alligator hunt draw is upon us, and unbeknownst to us, there is a fair amount of controversy around that process and the hunt itself. There was a new record set for Channel Catfish. One thing is for sure, Neither Jordan or myself are as young as we were when we kicked this podcast off in 2017. The current ailments we find ourselves dealing with are both inconvenient and comical at the same time. However, I heard a wise man once say, it is what it is.
