It has been a night of horror for Labour in the Local elections, while Reform UK have made significant gains.

Sir Keir Starmer's party has been haemorrhaging seats as local authorities began declaring overnight, in a set of contests that could prove decisive for his premiership.


The US Central Command has said it intercepted "unprovoked Iranian attacks" and responded through targeting launch sites in Iran.


This is after an Iranian military spokesperson confirmed they had attacked US vessels, for what they described as "the aggressive, terrorist, and pirate US military (having) violated the ceasefire".
