In this Satsang, Sanjay led a discussion on self-realization, explaining that everyone is inherently realized but may not be aware of it. He described awareness as the underlying consciousness that remains constant while thoughts and emotions come and go. Sanjay emphasized that the key to self-realization is directing attention inward to pure awareness rather than focusing on external thoughts or circumstances. He discussed how this practice can lead to a state of bliss and stillness regardless of what's happening in the external world or with the body-mind complex. Jonas shared his personal experience with reducing mental chatter and finding peace through practice, to which Sanjay responded by encouraging a focus on awareness rather than trying to eliminate thoughts. The discussion concluded with Sanjay explaining that true self-realization involves recognizing our true nature as pure consciousness rather than identifying with the mind, body, or external circumstances.
