Since taking office, the Trump administration has put the solar industry under new pressure including cancelling funding, revoking permits, and placing limits on key tax credits. That comes at a time when solar remains the fastest-growing source of electricity in the United States and as energy demand is projected to surge in the coming years. POLITICO’s Kelsey Tamborrino sits down for an extended interview with Abigail Ross Hopper, president and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association, to talk about how the industry is navigating Trump’s second term and what’s ahead for the sector.
