Bio

Dr. Barak Richman is the Catherine T. Bartlett Professor of Law and Business Administration at Duke University. He will soon take on the role of Alexander Hamilton Professor of Business Law at George Washington University. With a JD from Harvard and a PhD from UC Berkeley, where he studied under Nobel laureate Oliver Williamson, Dr. Richman is a leading expert in the economics of contracting, antitrust law, and healthcare policy. He has testified before Congress and co-authored influential white papers on healthcare competition policy. His acclaimed book, "Stateless Commerce," was published by Harvard University Press in 2017.
