Ep 291: Petar (Play Support)

This week we have our first ever Table of Round chat. I am joined by Heath, Lars, and Smiddy who talk about what they have been playing, painting, and thinking about during the 2026 hobby year. Its a new format for us, we'll see how it goes, I have recorded another, if you like it then let me know and we can add in more to the rotation, I enjoyed doing them, hope you enjoy listening in.

This week I talk to Rob from Fae Miniatures. Fae Miniatures is not only a Youtube channel but also soon to be a rule set and game, we talk about both the channel and the game during the show, along with the usual backstory and development of the hobby from Rob's perspective. Sometimes when I meet someone for a podcast you just instantly know that they are awesome, and Rob was one of those people. I feel I need to mention it here before we start but I call him Rawdogging Rob, and that is because we didnt do any form of pre show chat, we just went straight in, I just feel that I need to clarify that, Rob doesnt infact call himself Rawdogging Rob, not that I am aware of anyway. If you dont know what rawdogging is, then dont worry, but I wouldnt start using it freely down the pub as a "I went into it without much preparation" substitute.   

This week I talk to Petar of Play Support. Play Support helps you with supporting minis for 3d printing and also offers a commission painting service. I had a great time getting to know Petar's hobby journey and we also dive into the painting aspect a little more. This week I talk to Anthony of the Gergen games YouTube channel. We do the usual poke around in the hobby past and chat about interesting points as they pop up as we move to the current day and his Youtube activities. This week I talk to Johan, the brain behind the Wyrdcry fan hack that blends Mordheim with Warcry. I enjoy fan hacks a lot, the creativity people show to make them along with the dedication to get them done is brilliant. It also allows us to play games unrestricted by organisations which allows us to be more free with our choices and options, and thats great!
