When people ask me for quick tips to improve their health numbers (e.g., weight, blood sugar, blood pressure) I usually tell them to stop sauteing in oil. It's an easy strategy to get started. However, their response is usually, "oh, but I use olive oil", thinking that because they use olive oil they are improving their health.
