The Campbell family’s case has reached the highest court in the UK, the Supreme Court. If they win, they will be able to challenge the lawfulness of the AG’s refusal to reopen Geoff Campbell’s inquest, and winning at that stage would lead to reopening the inquest. Litigating at this level, whether in the UK or US, is very expensive. The hearing is in October, and the family needs to raise the final £125,000 by the end of June so that their barristers can get started in earnest.
