On September 13, 2015, firefighters responding to a wildfire near Greenwood in El Dorado County, California, discovered a cabin that had burned to the ground. Inside were the remains of 38-year-old Adam Buchanan, his fiancée, 37-year-old Molly McAfee, and their 8-year-old son, Gavin Buchanan.
