The New York Jets made a big splash this offseason trading for star pass rusher Haason Reddick. Reddick wants a new contract, however, and will not participate in this week's mandatory minicamp. This will result in a fine for Reddick. The bigger question is how far he will be willing to push this. The NFL has new kickoff rules this year. Teams are finding ways to prepare for them. The New York Jets made a signing with the rules in mind, Tarik Cohen. Cohen is a former All Pro return man. There's no way around it. 2023 was a very disappointing season for the New York Jets. A lot of that had to do with Aaron Rodgers' injury. That in itself is a lesson.
