She is also Associate Director of the Center for Pharmacogenomics at this institution. Dr. Cooper-DeHoff discusses the rise of pharmacometabolomics, genomic testing, and pharmacogenetic testing in lipidology, with particular emphasis on predictive mapping for statin responses.

Dr. Wiggens has served as a member of the cardiovascular expert panel for the United States Pharmacopoeia.

Recorded live at the recent Annual National Lipid Association meeting, Dr. Alan Brown welcomes Dr. Robert Wild to discuss types of dyslipidemia that clinicans may see in women of child bearing age, particularly those using hormonal contraception. The two discuss ways for clinicians to trace the source of dyslipidemia in these women, from primary to secondary causes, and how this knowledge can guide future contraception choices. Dr. Robert Wild is Professor of OB/GYN and Adjunct Professor in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of Oklahoma. He is also Adjunct Professor in Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh, and Adjunct Professor of Nutrition at Oklahoma State University.

Joyce is a consultative education specialist in Cardiovascular Risk Intervention with the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She is the first Nurse Practitioner elected as President of the NLA. Ms. Ross introduces her goals for the upcoming year, including novel efforts on behalf of the NLA to help combat America's obesity epidemic.

Dr. Martin is a faculty member in the Johns Hopkins Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Heart Disease. Dr. Martin discusses the pursuit of lipid profiles on a national level, utilizing Big Data from health records and clinical trials to develop better understandings of cardiovascular risk and theraputic efficacies.
