Jesus Is Israel? Testing Replacement Theology in Scripture

Dr. Brown answers your comments about a divine Messiah in the Tanakh point by point. He tackles Gospel authorship, Psalm 72 versus Solomon, Isaiah 9:6 and Hezekiah, Jeremiah 23:6 and the divine name, and whether a sin-prone king can save Israel. Open your Hebrew Bible, follow the text with him, and see for yourself what the Scriptures actually say about Moshiach. ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Do charismatics lean on miracles like a crutch to keep believing? Dr. Michael Brown flips that charge and walks you through John 14:12, Acts 2, 1 Corinthians 12–13, and James 5 to show why gifts and healing should still be normative. You’ll see why fewer miracles actually challenge charismatic faith rather than prop it up—and how word-based believers keep pressing in until Jesus returns. ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Have you ever been told that the Hebrew Bible never speaks of two comings of the Messiah—that Christians invented a second coming to cover for Jesus’ “failed” mission? In this teaching you’ll open Isaiah 52:13–15 and see both the Messiah’s terrible suffering and His ultimate exaltation in just three verses. You’ll walk through Targum Jonathan, Yalkut Shimoni, and other rabbinic sources that identify these verses as messianic, then see why only Yeshua fits the prophetic timeline before the Temple’s destruction. Watch and weigh in—does the Tanakh really leave room for one Messiah with two comings? ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Are modern Bible translations quietly inserting replacement theology into the text—sometimes without even a footnote? Dr. Michael Brown walks you through Psalm 87 and Galatians 6:16, showing where versions like the CEV, NIV, and NLT add “Zion,” erase “Israel,” or rewrite the verse so the church replaces Israel. You’ll see what the Hebrew and Greek actually say, why comparing translations matters, and how to spot interpretive bias that fuels replacement theology. Don’t let a mistranslation shape your theology—check the text for yourself. ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. What exactly was Paul’s thorn in the flesh—sickness, spiritual attack, or something else entirely? Dr. Michael Brown walks you through 2 Corinthians 12 and the Greek theme of weakness that runs through both Corinthian letters. You’ll see why extreme persecution fits the text best, and how God’s power is made perfect when you’re weak. Lean into this lesson on grace, humility, and finding strength only in Him. ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Wondering how Daniel 9:24–27 points to Jesus before the Second Temple fell? Dr. Michael Brown walks you through the seventy weeks, the six prophetic requirements, and why that timeline lands before 70 AD. You'll also hear a caller's seven-decade calendar theory for the 70th week—and why Dr. Brown rejects treating that final week as a different kind of time. ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Have you heard the claim that Jesus is Israel, and that all of God’s purposes for the Jewish people are now fulfilled in Him alone? Dr. Michael Brown tests that replacement-theology slogan against Jesus’ own words, Romans 9–11, John 15, and Isaiah 49. You’ll see why you cannot simply swap “Jesus” for “Israel” in Scripture, and how the Messiah, who is called Israel, is sent to restore Jacob, not to cancel Israel’s remaining promises. ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Religious Jewish viewers say the Septuagint was only the Torah, later rewritten by Christians, and too flawed for the New Testament to quote. Dr. Michael Brown addresses these comments, showing that the rest of the Hebrew Bible was already translated into Greek before the time of Jesus. You will see how New Testament authors sometimes translate straight from the Hebrew, and how the Septuagint and the Dead Sea Scrolls sometimes preserve an older reading than the later Masoretic text. ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Dr. Michael Brown weighs in on the debate over whether the Son was eternally begotten of the Father. You will hear Wes Huff’s case for eternal generation, William Lane Craig’s skepticism, and Dr. Brown’s own take. If the doctrine makes your head spin, Dr. Brown points you back to worship, the deity of Jesus, and the exclusive oneness of God. ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Hebrew Scriptures do prophesy a Messiah who is more than a man. Dr. Brown walks you through Isaiah 52, Isaiah 9, then Psalm 45 and Jeremiah 23, to see how titles like Mighty God and Elohim land on the coming king. You will also see why the Targum, Hezekiah readings, and a long modern Jewish paraphrase strain the grammar, and how the text is fulfilled when God dwells among us in the Messiah. ~~~FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletterDonate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-timeX: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrownYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTVDiscover Messiah: https://www.youtube.com/@DiscoverMessiahInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrownFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrownWebsite: https://thelineoffire.org Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
