In the latest episode of Life in Food with Laura Price, I talk about Food and Menopause with Dani Binnington, host of the Menopause and Cancer podcast. Dani is a wellness expert and yoga teacher who pivoted after a cancer diagnosis when she was 33, and now helps women as they navigate menopause and perimenopause. In the episode, we talk about weight gain and adapting the way we eat, as well as exercising as our bodies change, genetic mutations and keeping our gut microbiomes happy. Dani also talks about wiener schnitzel, salami sandwiches and her love of chia seeds.

About Dani Binnington: Dani is a podcast host, wellness expert, yoga teacher and founder of the Superfood Supper Club. She runs the website Healthy Whole Me, where you can find recipes and book her yoga workshops. Dani was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 33 and was thrown into a surgical menopause when she was 39, so she created a community to talk about the problems and side effects of menopause.

About the host: Laura Price is a multilingual journalist who travels the world writing about restaurants. A proud Yorkshire lass at heart, she spent several years in Latin America before settling in London with her two cats. Her first novel, Single Bald Female, was inspired by her experience of being diagnosed with breast cancer at 29. A novelist by day and a food writer by night, Laura combines her two passions into this podcast, bringing out powerful stories of survival and healing in a language that everyone understands – food.
