A week ago, E. Jean Carroll beat Trump in his appeal of the $5 million jury award in one of her defamation cases. Now, Ms. Carroll has won another victory in the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in her $83.3 million defamation case against Trump. The American Bar Association has sued Donald Trump for his unconstitutional executive orders punishing law firms. Attorney General Pam Bondi and her Department of Justice lawyers said repeatedly that it was impossible to facilitate Abrego Garcia's return to the United States. Then, lo and behold, they arranged for Abrego Garcia's return to the US and waived around a two-count criminal indictment claiming that he's been involved in a criminal conspiracy from 2016 through 2025. The Trump administration has been peddling to the American people that its deportation effort would focus on immigrants who had been convicted of crimes. So it turns out that Donald Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice lawyers were lying all along when they claimed it's impossible to return to the United States someone they wrongfully deported, because that person was in a sovereign nation and the US had no power or authority to facilitate the person's return. For the first time, the Trump administration HAS facilitated the return of a Guatemalan migrant that they had wrongfully deported to Mexico. A federal judge in Massachusetts ordered the Trump administration to "take all immediate steps" to return the man. The administration complied with that order and now the man is once again back in the US.
