Blue State Leadership is Ready to DEFEAT Trump's Election Interference!

We already know that Donald Trump and his corrupt executive branch officials are going to try to interfere in the upcoming elections. But the good news is, the blue state leadership - attorneys general, secretaries of state, state prosecutors - are ready to defeat Trump's election interference. And there's actually one lesser known reason blue states are well equipped to defeat trump: the states have a bit of a secret weapon at their disposal. Glenn discusses what the secret weapon is and why it will enable the states to kick Trump's butt in court. Trump's Department of Justice officials have been violating court order after court order. Yet thus far, there have been no contempt of court sanctions for any of their willful defiance of court orders. Notably, there is one case in the system that continues to move in the direction of contempt: the case involving the unconstitutional deportation of Venezuelan immigrants to El Salvador, a case being presided over by the Chief Judge of the DC district court James Boasberg. Glenn discusses why federal judges may be reluctant to hold Trump administration officials in contempt of court.Find Glenn one Substack: glennkirschner.substack.com,See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Does Donald Trump ever gets tired of losing the lawsuits HE files? Remember the lawsuit he filed against Hillary Clinton for $24 million. That one was dismissed. Remember the suit he filed against the Wall Street Journal for $10 billion? That one was dismissed with prejudice! So Donald Trump has brought another lawsuit, this one against the BBC for its reporting about what he said on January 6. As part of discovery in the case, the BBC said it intends to subpoena Jack Smith to testify in a deposition. Donald Trump's lawyers have filed a court plating saying, in substance, 'whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute, there's no need for that.'Glenn reviews the new court filing by Trump's lawyers who seem desperate to try to prevent Jack Smith from testifying in the case. The first press conference by Trump's new White House press secretary, Katie Zacharia, was an complete train wreck. Compounding her problems, when she was asked in which state she was licensed to practice law, she answered, "when I went to China."Reporting emerged that, even though Zacharia had been holding herself out as a lawyer, she was never admitted to practice law in any state. Now, new reporting reveals that a nonprofit watchdog group filed an ethics complaint against Zacharia with the California state bar. Importantly, it is a crime in California to hold yourself out as a lawyer if you are not. Glenn spoke with Adam Klasfeld of All Rise News to discuss this disturbing legal development. Judge Timothy Kelly issued a preliminary injunction putting a stop to Trump unconstitutional retaliation against CNN, MS NOW and Politico. And the judge said there is NO evidence that Trump's ban of reporters had anything to do with national security. Have you seen Donald Trump's political propaganda commercials, befitting of Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong Un? These are "dear leader" commercials commonly seen in dictatorships. And these commercials are being made with our money, with taxpayer dollars, inappropriately and likely unlawfully, because Congress appropriated that money to be spent in other ways. A federal judge has told Donald Trump to cease and desist - stop running the commercials. It's high time we voted this corrupt political party out of power.Find Glenn on Substack: glennkirschner.substack.comSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Attorneys are fleeing Donald Trump's Department of Justice at alarming rates. It's not just a brain drain but an ethics drain as well. And that's on top of the people who were wrongfully terminated for holding the January 6 criminals accountable. Moreover, whereas the DOJ generally had thousands of applicants for each vacancy, there are reports that the DOJ is now seeing just two attorneys apply for some open positions. It's not surprising that attorneys have no interest in working under the corrupt "leadership" of Todd Blanche.Glenn sat down with former DOJ Pardon Attorney and federal public defender Liz Oyer to discuss some of the utterly unqualified candidates who are being hired by Trump's DOJ.Find Liz across multiple social media platforms: @lawyeroyerFind Glenn on Substack: glennkirschner.substack.comSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Another day, another vindictive prosecution by Donald Trump and his corrupt DOJ leadership. This time, they're going after a Republican former White House aide, Cassidy Hutchinson, for testimony she gave to Congress that was unflattering of Trump. This vindictive prosecution of Hutchinson will fail, just like the vindictive prosecution of James Comey failed. It was dismissed. It was thrown out. Of course, they're trying again with the great seashell caper case. That one will fail too. The vindictive prosecution of Leticia James failed, dismissed, thrown out. The attempted vindictive prosecution of Jerome Powell? That one never even got out of the grand jury because the judge threw out the grand jury subpoenas for being issued for an improper purpose. The attempted vindictive prosecution of six members of Congress, who basically did nothing more than cut a public service announcement video accurately stating military law: that military members must disobey unlawful orders. That one was laughed out of the grand jury. How about the prosecution of the sandwich thrower, Sean Dunn. Trump's DOJ couldn't get a felony indictment of Dunn AND couldn't even convict him in a misdemeanor trial. AND, how about the reflecting pool guy, David Hearn. That one was thrown out of court by the Judge. And on and on and on.It seems like the safest place to be if you never want to be convicted of a crime, is on Donald Trump's enemies list.
