On December 21st 2002 on a cold rainy morning in Upton, Peterborough, an off-duty fireman was cycling home when he noticed a burning smell in the air. The smell was something that he was all too familiar with… the smell of burning flesh.

This episode explores this bizarre case where a victim remained unidentified for almost a year and the police used the remains of an old memo to track down their murder suspect.
