While researching the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles I came across this case and decided to research it further. It opened a can of worms about Raymond's family, but I ended up making a full episode about it for Patreon. I mean no insensitivity whatsoever to surviving members of these families.

Another article read with commentary by me. This article drew my attention because of the large illustration, which was not very common at the time. This article is about a woman who was arrested and charged with murder for being an abortionist that ran a confinement home for women. A young lady died while in her care as the result of an illegal abortion.

As I was researching Hotel Majestic for an episode on the main feed I came across an article that I wanted to share with listeners but would not make sense in the episode, because I thought it was funny. I also included another article about a male cobra that ate a female cobra whole, but the writer wrote the article as if the mated pair were in a domestic quarrel that ended in violence.

Another minimally edited episode for those who are interested in my pet research project, the city of Anniston and the Victoria Inn/Hotel Finial. This episode never made it on to the Patreon feed as life was so hectic I never had time to compile my recordings how I wanted. On my Patreon feed I used to read old articles from a subscription based archival newspaper site in order to give extra context to some of my episodes for those who want exhaustive deep dives. I did one of my first episodes on Victoria Inn/Hotel Finial. Its history is one of my pet projects and I wanted to share that with others who might find it interesting, in the knowledge that many will not. I think this episode might only be interesting to those who live or used to live in the Anniston area and care about its history.
