His life path was set the day he saw his first two snowboarding movies, Whiskey and Whiskey 2. Clayton just co-directed and edited his first full length feature documentary film, Our Kind Of Chaos. It's a deep dive into the Whiskey franchise and the lives of the people behind it, namely Sean Kearns and Sean Johnson. Our Kind Of Chaos breaks new ground thanks to the deep honesty and transparency of the people behind the Whiskey movies who had deep childhood trauma. Send us a textAlex Lee runs the Burton store at the Snow World Mall in Shenzhen China. Snow World has the largest indoor snowboard hill in the world. I say that it's a snowboard hill because snowboarders outnumbered skiers 10 to 1 when we visited. Alex helped us navigate getting set up and then I sat with him and Frank Hao, the man behind the manufacturing of Ken Ach's Pro Standard Quick Release for Step On Bindings. This is a wild one to listen to but hopefully gives you a peak into what's happening in China around snowboarding. It really does feel like the nineties over there except that the cool snowboarders have the most unique style I've seen anywhere. I loved it.
