Hr: U Zagrebu, kroz maglovit i hladan zimski dan, snijeg je lagano padao izvan velikih prozora korporativnog ureda.
En: In Zagreb, through a foggy and cold winter day, snow was gently falling outside the large windows of the corporate office.
Hr: Unutar ureda, Ivan, projekt menadžer, napeto je pregledavao papire.
En: Inside the office, Ivan, the project manager, was tensely reviewing papers.
En: His head was full of thoughts about the demanding project that needed to be completed by the end of the week.
En: The glow of the monitor illuminated his face, as the hours swiftly passed.
En: Ivan was dedicated to his work, but he often thought of his family - Maja and little Ana.
Hr: Dok je radni sat otkucavao, njegova supruga Maja poslala mu je poruku: „Ne zaboravi Aninu predstavu večeras!”
En: As the workday ticked by, his wife Maja sent him a message: “Don’t forget Ana’s performance tonight!”
En: Ivan felt a painful pressure in his chest, knowing he had already missed several important moments because of work.
En: While his colleagues were leaving the office, Ivan remained at his desk.
Hr: Osjećao je težinu odluke koju mora donijeti.
En: He felt the weight of the decision he had to make.
En: The project manager had planned a late-night meeting to fine-tune the project until the end.
En: Ivan pushed thoughts of Ana’s performance aside, but the image of her smiling face wouldn’t give him peace.
Hr: Dok je hladni vjetar šibao vani, Ivan iznenada donese odluku.
En: As the cold wind whipped outside, Ivan suddenly made a decision.
Hr: Isključi računalo, uzme kaput i s uzbuđenjem potrči prema vratima.
En: He turned off the computer, grabbed his coat, and with excitement, ran towards the door.
En: "I have to be by my daughter’s side," he said to himself.
En: The streets of Zagreb were covered in fresh snow, but that didn’t stop Ivan.
En: His heart was beating fast as he ran through the snow towards the school.
Hr: Ušao je u toplu školsku dvoranu netom prije nego je predstava počela.
En: He entered the warm school hall just before the performance started.
Hr: Disao je duboko, dok mu je srce još uvijek ubrzano kucalo.
En: He breathed deeply, while his heart was still racing.
Hr: Obasjan reflektorima, ugledao je Anu kako ga traži u publici.
En: Lit by the spotlights, he saw Ana searching for him in the audience.
En: When their eyes met, Ivan knew he had made the right decision.
Hr: Osjetio je kako mu sreća i ponos ispunjavaju srce.
En: He felt happiness and pride fill his heart.
En: After the performance, Ana ran towards him, hugging him happily.
En: Maja, although still a bit angry over all the missed occasions, felt relief and happiness that Ivan was finally present.
En: Then Ivan decided he needed to find a better way to balance work and family.
En: He knew that things wouldn't change immediately, but he decided to set boundaries.
Hr: Odlučio je svaki dan posvetiti određeno vrijeme svojoj obitelji, neovisno o zahtjevima posla.
En: He decided to dedicate specific time to his family every day, regardless of work demands.
En: On that winter evening, standing under the snowy sky, Ivan knew that his family was the most important thing he had.
