In this, the first ever episode of Eating Words, I ask Curious Nutritionist Kelly Fullerton - who is also a very experienced Primary P.E. Teacher - what she thinks helps to build positive food learning experiences in schools. We chat about some of the opportunities and challenges in doing food-related work in schools, the importance of experiential activities over abstract learning about nutrition, why lunch box policing is unhelpful, and what Kelly's experiences have been in trying to improve nutrition education and helping educators to foster positive relationships to food in children.
