This week, Todd Adams and I have a discussion on Internal Family Systems and how/why it works. IFS was developed by psychologist Richard Schwartz. In his work as a family therapist, Schwartz began to observe patterns in how people described their inner lives. We discuss this transformative process and why we enjoy implementing it into our own inner-work as well as our work with others.

Why do we do the inner work that we do? Post traumatic growth (PTG) is where we focus on the results and the freedom we feel from healing. It starts with curiosity and telling our story.

Liz Cochran, educator, coach, and long-time friend shares her insight and experience on the importance of listening. We discuss how good listening impacts brain development of children and how it deepens our connections as adults. Enjoy!
