“The Way” - Saturday Movie Session - "Happy Learner, The Attraction to Innocence” - Commentary by David Hoffmeister

Welcome to the October 17, 2026 Movie Session from "The Way" Online Weekend Retreat, featuring commentary by David Hoffmeister on the theme "Limitless Being, Full Focus on His Guidance". This profound episode invites listeners to transcend the illusions of linear time, space, and the ego's projections to remember their true identity as pure spirit. Using a mind-expanding 2014 science fiction film about a character who undergoes a rapid, radical transformation of consciousness, David illustrates how true spiritual awakening requires the complete undoing of past associations and of hypothetical future thinking. He draws parallels between quantum mechanics and deep metaphysical forgiveness, demonstrating that the physical cosmos is merely a unified projection of potentiality, and that true power lies solely in the mind's alignment with divine love. Ultimately, listeners are encouraged to surrender their worldly concerns, human-condition limitations, and temporal relationships to the Holy Spirit, thereby opening themselves to the boundless joy and peace of the present moment. The session ends with a Mystical Music Lounge. These gatherings take place every weekend and include comedy, teachings, films, music, panel discussions, and live Q&A sessions with David Hoffmeister and members of the Living Miracles Community.Register for The Way for free here: https://programs.the-christ.net/courses/the-way-of-the-mysticIf you want to learn more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, visit https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events Recording Date: Online, Saturday, October 17, 2026Follow us on:YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/DavidHoffmeister https://www.youtube.com/@LivingMiraclesFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/ACIM.ACourseInMiracles Learn more about David & Living Miracles:https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/eventsLearn more about A Course in Miracles:https://ACIM.bizDavid's Spanish YouTube Channel is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP9Gw00CldPUmiu43y7fdWwDavid's Portuguese YouTube Channel is:https://www.youtube.com/@davidhoffmeisterucem

Welcome to the October 10, 2026 Movie Session from "The Way" Online Weekend Retreat, featuring profound commentary by David Hoffmeister under the theme "Grace and Gratitude, the Joy of Our Single Purpose". This session takes participants on a deep metaphysical dive into the illusions of linear time, space, and hypothetical thinking. Using a mind-bending sci-fi film centered around a character with the psychic ability to see moments into the future, David illustrates how the ego attempts to control and manipulate outcomes for self-preservation. He explains that the physical world is merely a projection of potentiality, and that true forgiveness requires letting go of past regrets, future anxieties, and the desire to evaluate behavior. By surrendering the need to plan or analyze the temporal world, listeners are invited to step into the "holy instant," embrace their pure spiritual innocence, and experience the deep joy of resting in the present moment. The session ends with a Mystical Music Lounge. These gatherings take place every weekend and include comedy, teachings, films, music, panel discussions, and live Q&A sessions with David Hoffmeister and members of the Living Miracles Community.Register for The Way for free here: https://programs.the-christ.net/courses/the-way-of-the-mysticIf you want to learn more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, visit https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events Recording Date: Online, Saturday, October 10, 2026Follow us on:YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/DavidHoffmeister https://www.youtube.com/@LivingMiraclesFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/ACIM.ACourseInMiracles Learn more about David & Living Miracles:https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/eventsLearn more about A Course in Miracles:https://ACIM.bizDavid's Spanish YouTube Channel is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP9Gw00CldPUmiu43y7fdWwDavid's Portuguese YouTube Channel is:https://www.youtube.com/@davidhoffmeisterucem

This session dives deep into the profound difference between worldly thankfulness—which relies on fleeting circumstances and comparisons—and true, eternal gratitude directed toward God. Welcome to the October 3, 2026 Movie Session from "The Way" Online Weekend Retreat with David Hoffmeister. Anchored in the weekend's theme, "Happy Learner, The Attraction to Innocence," this profound session uses a classic sci-fi thriller to illustrate how the ego constructs a substitute reality to keep the mind asleep. David draws powerful parallels between the film's highly controlled, dystopian society and our own belief in a fragmented, fear-based world. Exploring concepts like the projection of illusions, the deception of linear time, and the trap of competition, he explains that the physical world is merely a screen reflecting our unconscious thoughts. Ultimately, the commentary serves as a reminder that true freedom and peace are found not by trying to fix or escape the external world, but through the internal practice of forgiveness and trusting the Holy Spirit's guidance. The session ends with a Mystical Music Lounge. These gatherings take place every weekend and include comedy, teachings, films, music, panel discussions, and live Q&A sessions with David Hoffmeister and members of the Living Miracles Community.Register for The Way for free here: https://programs.the-christ.net/courses/the-way-of-the-mysticIf you want to learn more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, visit https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events Recording Date: Online, Saturday, October 3, 2026Follow us on:YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/DavidHoffmeister https://www.youtube.com/@LivingMiraclesFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/ACIM.ACourseInMiracles Learn more about David & Living Miracles:https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/eventsLearn more about A Course in Miracles:https://ACIM.bizDavid's Spanish YouTube Channel is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP9Gw00CldPUmiu43y7fdWwDavid's Portuguese YouTube Channel is:https://www.youtube.com/@davidhoffmeisterucem

This session delves into the profound relief that comes from surrendering personal decision-making to the Holy Spirit, illustrating how the ego's illusion of control only breeds guilt and anxiety. Through engaging everyday parables—ranging from harmonizing a house full of rescue cats to finding inner peace during pandemic quarantines—David and Kirsten demonstrate that true safety stems entirely from internal guidance rather than worldly defenses. The conversation also highlights the French film The Intouchables as a brilliant example of true empathy and holy relationship, reminding us that an open, joyful heart naturally extends innocence to everyone it encounters. Setting a tone of deep trust and playfulness for the weekend, the gathering opens with an original song by Eric titled "Let Life Unfold".These gatherings take place every weekend and include comedy, teachings, films, music, panel discussions, and live Q&A sessions with David Hoffmeister and members of the Living Miracles Community.Register for The Way for free here: https://programs.the-christ.net/courses/the-way-of-the-mysticIf you want to learn more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, visit https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events Recording Date: Online, Friday, October 2, 2026Follow us on:YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/DavidHoffmeister https://www.youtube.com/@LivingMiraclesFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/ACIM.ACourseInMiracles Learn more about David & Living Miracles:https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/eventsLearn more about A Course in Miracles:https://ACIM.bizDavid's Spanish YouTube Channel is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP9Gw00CldPUmiu43y7fdWwDavid's Portuguese YouTube Channel is:https://www.youtube.com/@davidhoffmeisterucem
