Eleven-year-old Shannon Paulk was excited to visit with her friends and neighbors in the Candlestick Mobile Home Park in Prattville, Alabama on August 16th, 2001 after spending much of the summer away with family. She wanted to see friends and visit neighbors’ animals. Many neighbors recall seeing or speaking with the friendly Shannon that morning.
