DJ, producer and label owner Mark Knight is one of the most celebrated electronic artists of his generation with an impressive 120 million+ global streams to his name.
He founded the prestigious Toolroom Records label, has written and produced music for a range of global superstars including Calvin Harris, Jennifer Lopez, Flo Rida, Icona Pop and many more, and in 2010 received a Grammy Award nomination for the work developed on the multiplatinum album ‘The End’ by the Black Eyed Peas. His career has spanned close to two decades, as he continues to be at the top of his game in the industry.
In this month's episode with Farius, Mark touches on his early days growing up in Kent, UK, a life changing trip to Ibiza at the age of 18, how he balanced working at a cable company in the day and DJing at night, the importance of family to him and how he would approach his career differently if he could do it all again.
