EP380: GET THE FEELING

When you're six unbeaten, top of the form table, and over halfway to safety before November, you only have good things to talk about. This positivity - dare we say, happy clappyness - means Nick and Stu go off on a few tangents, free from the stress of any doom or gloom. So this week, talk of Plymouth is joined by some Premier League memories, musing over VAR and transistor radios, The Traitors, ROFHOG, attendances, and the usual look around the third tier. Running late, but sounding great: Nick and Stu return with a podcast that goes in many different directions. From the draw with Port Vale, to the lack of EFL TV and newspaper coverage, to memories of the Premier League, dodgy pitches, and away day nightmares, it's fair to say we lose track of where we were going at times. But doesn't that make it more fun? There's a game at Plymouth to preview, a game of ROFHOG to play, and a nose around the third tier to raise a number of talking points. A lot of Trust issues to discuss this week, as election season for the DTB gets underway amidst resignations and recriminations. Nick and Stu try and clear up the mess and confusion, looking at what has happened, what needs to happen, and whether the fan ownership model is the best way forward. There's also a win over Rotherham to review, a trip to Doncaster to preview, and a fun game of ROFHOG to test your geography knowledge. A fun show as always with plenty of food for thought!

Nick and Stu return to pick the bones out of the 3-0 defeat at Bolton, and the two red cards that made life a little harder for us on the day and for the next couple of weeks. It's not all bad news though! I mean it's not great news either, but there's a Season Ticket survey to review, and a Fair Game Index report that sheds some light on the difficulties clubs are facing financially in this world of insane salaries. ROFHOG and a look ahead to the visit of Rotherham round-off another fun show! Sorry for going long, again - although we're Wimbledon, and going long should never be considered a bad thing.

Nick and Stu find themselves in the unusual position of talking about the team conceding goals this week. What has changed over the past fortnight that has seen us become far more open, with chances galore at either end? We take an in-depth look at the defeat at Bradford, before a slightly less in-depth gander at the B-Team Trophy humbling, and what it told us about squad depth this season. Alongside this, we take a trip around the third tier, and Stu unveils some very telling stats from across the division. We look ahead to the trip to Bolton on the weekend, and play a fun version of ROFHOG. No touching!

A cracking win over Barnsley followed up by a cup exit Reading: Nick and Stu discuss whether we were right to make as many changes for the latter as we did, and what the ramifications of the defeat will be - on and off the pitch. But none of this should overshadow the victory in the league, and the number of positives that came from it and the start of the season as a whole.
