I've been wanting to get a publishing deal for a long time and finally worked up the courage to reach out to a well-known publishing agent, Lucinda Halpern. Lucinda was totally honest with me - she told me whether I could get a deal, and went over the three keys any author must have in order to get a publishing deal.
