Anyone who lives in Naarm / Melbourne will know the long-standing bustling Preston market. Sue Sheehan and her partner Haydn opened their organic shop in a forklift bay in the market almost 25 years ago.
In today's episode, I chat with Sue about turning a passion for organic produce into a business, uneasiness with capitalism, expanding out of necessity, and where the shop name, 'Rhubarb Rhubarb' comes from.
Sue is honest, humble and philosophical. She puts the success of the business down to some hard work, some good decisions, some privilege and some luck.
