That podcast is the second program on film music he's hosted with the first being on WHIE radio in Georgia, where he was news director and station manager. Our guest is a freelance classic soundtrack producer. He's been involved with many soundtrack releases and has worked with Film Score Monthly, Intrada, La-La Land Records, Quartet Records, Kritzerland, Mondo and Varese Sarabande. He's also worked on several animated soundtrack reissues for Walt Disney Records for CD and streaming. His most recent work that has caught the attention of soundtrack collectors was producing newly remixed scores for the James Bond films Man with the Golden Gun and Moonraker. Our discussion highlights many behind the scenes info on what it takes to get scores released with., in many cases, never before released cues. Brian Hughes has amassed an impressive collection of film posters over the last 40 years. This passion fueled his passion for films and film music. He has over 3000 soundtracks in his collection and over 600 posters. He particularly is fond of WWII films and the James Bond series. We discuss both genres...he has interesting insights into WWII films and we also discuss the current state of the Bond films.
