Mitali Deypurkaystha is a former copywriter and ghostwriter turned publisher. Through her business, The Vegan Publisher, she helps plant-based experts become thought leaders by becoming published authors.

On this episode, Mitali shares not only her career but the challenges of growing up in an immigrant family in the UK, her experience of racism and colourism, and how ultimately the pressure to fit in with her peers manifested in her eating meat in her teens (despite being raised vegetarian) and becoming addicted to speed at university, ending up in a homeless shelter for a while. Mitali shares with us how she learned to accept herself and find her voice, plus her life and business advice.

Mitali has just relaunched her first book The Freedom Master Plan: Put Your Mission, Movement and Message on the Map - For Vegan and Ethical Experts, Influencers and Entrepreneurs.
