Session 3 - Preparation

Just as K and Shion begin to find some answers after spending the day in their abandoned base, they are caught off guard by a vicious attack that takes an unexpected turn.

Our longest prep episode yet! In this episode I touch on some concepts mentioned in previous prep episodes, and talk about how I plan to explore a certain story arc, fleshing it out bit by bit as I go.

K and Shion return to the “base”, only to find it dark and completely deserted.

We are officially a bi-weekly podcast! This episode contains a mix of prep talk and reflection regarding the episode, and an attempt at a systematic explanation of my notes for the session.

K meets Yuki, a ghoul who Shion claims is his girlfriend. Tensions run high as K realizes that the reality of the situation is not as Shion claims.

I seem to have misplaced my original prep recording, so this was recorded after the Actual Play session, and will serve to discuss preparation and ST challenges encountered during the session. Some light spoilers are present.

In this session, K is taught how to feed for the first time, and sees a side of Shion she has never seen before.

One of the more polished prep episodes yet as I begin to get the hang of things, I discuss detailed information on NPCs, as well as potential scenes, locations, and my plans for K’s first feeding.

In this episode, K struggles to make sense of everything that has happened to her, and meets face-to-face the one who ordered her embrace.

This prep episode is a bit shorter than usual because we did not get through as much content as I had anticipated during the last session. That said, I share my thoughts on our first "actual play", as well as my objectives for the next session.
