Would they choose you? If women heard the thoughts in your head or how you spoke to your friends; would they choose you?

We are not angry enough, no we are, we as women are angry enough, but our anger incites no man to action... what if it were you? what if you were the one who felt the fear of being powerless? Would it change then? What would it take? Are you a good man?  Our bodies are not yours, how we dress is not an invitation to be claimed.

When was the last time you unlearned something?Today I want to introduce you to Eda, one of the friends I get to share time with here in Turkey, and one that has been quick to say yes to a random adventure and one that makes real conversation a part of time together in a way I treasure We chat about what it means to be open to experiences, how sometimes the opportunity to discover ourselves is the value in the adventure in front of us, and the reality of accepting the consequences of our own choices but the fear of having to live a life dictated by another’s decisionsShe shares how stubbornness as a child led to her not fearing what comes of her own choices and valuing the weight of what she gets to do. She shares how our patience is of deep value and how she has learned to not give it endlessly where it is not valuedWe chat about the weight of feeling the energy of those around us and the way another cares for us when they hold kindness in how they share space with us. Eda is one that holds a lot of gentle wisdom, kind humanity, and an ease I value so much in how she is present with value of self, but without demands of anotherSo tune in today and meet Eda, someone who will remind you it is ok to look back on life and define what matters for who you are becomingAnd to you Eda thank you, thank you for your shared space of sincerity, your constant willingness to go on any of my odd side quests, and the way you choose to give and listen to those around you. It is a pleasure and joy to know you and hold memories with you

What would it look like to accept that everyone, older or younger, is living life for the first time and deserves our grace?Today I want to introduce you to Rue, I had the pleasure of meeting her this past week here in Cappadocia, this place is home to me and continues to bring others into my life, and Rue is one such human We chat about embracing the unexpected moments, saying yes to spontaneity, but how sincerity and allowing what’s real to hold more weight than the lore of an adventure alone. She shares how so much of travel and life is full of new experiences, but how she deeply values first who is sitting in front of her.She shares how impactful her grandma has been in her life, how it has been a grounding point for gratitude in what she gets to experience, how it is a choice to view her parents with gentleness and the way she gets to share life with them. We chat about what it means to trust your gut, to let the opportunities that come lead you to new places, what it means to communicate, be yourself fully, and not hold back who you are for the sake of fitting in.Rue is someone who chooses to view connection with value, to see openness and presence as our first point of being seen, and to not rush to an assessment of who someone is too soonSo tune in and meet Rue, someone I am so grateful I got to connect with and even more that I get to share with youAnd to you Rue thank you, thank you for making the time to have an open conversation, for the way you share your life and how it has allowed you to learn and become someone who values others. It was a pleasure to share time with you and looking forward to seeing you again soon

The gift of teaToday I wanted to share something I think has been lost, or possibly was never found in western cultureThere is something that shifts in our energy when we stop and stay in one place I’m not talking about our home, or our careerSomething more simple and yet so much more foundational A cup of tea…The unspoken words in a cup of teaThe way it says do not rush offThe way it says you are welcome to stay The way it says pause while it coolsThere is something that changes us when we spend time with others without expectation or something that needs to be accomplished

What does it mean to treat someone like gods guest in your life?Today I want to introduce you to Gizem, a human that is like sunshine and the sea all wrapped up in one. She is one that does not hide her joy, one that will treat you a part of her joy, and one that I have truly enjoyed sharing time and making memories with.We chat about what it is to be defined by multiple parts of ourselves, to not be confined by one aspect of what we do or who we are, to not let fear hold you back from living, or becoming who you are meant to be, an the deep joy in the nowShe shares the value in the connection and bonds with those in her life, how those connections are not always a requirement when we meet others, and how there is so much beauty in sharing space and learning from others even to simply experience them for a time. How life allows us the chance to know ourselves more deeply because of others and how we can learn to celebrate what exists in another and see it as joy to pursue our own ability as wellWe chat about how perfectionism can cause us to, demand it all be perfect, and how we get to live more fully and more freely when it is not the main objective of our actionsGizem is someone I have laughed a lot with, smiled, swam with, had conversations with, and learned to paint with; she is someone who reminds me to find the childlike joy of discovering what it is to pause and do something that inspires us, and someone I am honored to share with you So tune in today and meet Gizem, and maybe you too might find the urge to sit by the sea and paintAnd to you Gizem thank you, thank you for sharing your joy, your painting, your smiles and your choice to treat me as your own guest, it is a joy for me to share time with you and to see all the choices you have made in life that have led you to be who you are today

What responsibility do you have to understand someone else?Today I want to introduce you to Riam, this human with a profound ability to absorb and learn, and an even more tangible ability to let life give her permission to be lived on her own terms; she is someone who shows up for her friends and will often make you laugh We chat about what it means to be human, to learn to live with regret, to make choices and let our actions understand consequence and outcome, how she bases so often a decision on what comes after instead of what is right now She shares how she wishes life came with a guidebook, how grief compounded can be too much because it never really leaves us, and how forgiveness has shifted from obligation to character in her life We chat about what it means to step into your own choices and not what is expected, the reality of hope, how it is not a given in everyone’s life, and how addiction humbles when we choose to heal Riam is to me like a little sister that is somehow a bit cooler than me, one that might make me roll my eyes with what comes out of her mouth in one breath and learn from her in the next So tune in and meet this human, one that values humanity and will remind you how real and ok it is to live the life in front of you and learn it as you go And to you Riam thank you, thank you for sharing your time, your thoughts, your honesty and openness, and the way it makes my day when we have our little chats together

I've never been one to be summed up in a word. life has changed, feels like an understatement sometimes. I'm not the most public with my life even though I share a lot I hold the parts that are dear to me. Yet these are thoughts I hope speak to you as theyhave to me, thoughts I hope help you define yourself with confidence and peace
