Jealousy in friendships

I saw this tiktok of a girl admitting to being a jealous friend and people chewed her up but she inspired me to make this episode so s/o to her for being a real one. Anyways, let’s talk jealousy in friendships, my personal experience and I’d try to give a little advice? emphasis on try ;)

The other day I looked at my 2025 goals and I had to sit up cause ……….LMAOOO! Anyways, It’s October (winter arc if you will) and I have less than 3 months to turn my year around and I’m finally admitting to myself that I do in fact struggle with discipline but on the bright side…..I’m being better so let’s talk about it!

We’re getting older & are finally aware that friendships do take a significant amount of work especially with how busy our lives have gotten. Listen to me talk about my friendship experience since high school (the ghetto lmao) and how I’ve been able to sustain my closest relationships as an adult!

I’m a high maintenance friend (to my 1-2 friends LMAO) and while I do have low maintenance friends (that I love and care about), I sometimes feel like social media glorifies low maintenance friendships to an unhealthy extent and pushes the narrative that because we’re getting older, we can only maintain low maintenance friendships and I completely DISAGREE. Let’s talk about it!

Growing up with African parents is ………a unique experience, to say the least. In a world where children are encouraged to obey their parents and not question authority, I advice you to be the problem. It’s never too late to be the black sheep of the family, but that’s just my opinion 🤷🏽‍♀️

Breakup szn is upon us (God abeg) and with it comes a sudden rush of productivity that hits as we enter our “single era”. At the same time, there’s a little bit of disappointment like “why didn’t I pour this much into myself while being occupied with love?”. It had me thinking…..does love distract? Let’s talk about it

I’m finallyy back and this time I’m DONE with school so I’m not going anywhere! School had me in a serious chokehold from January to July, but I made it out alive 😭 Since then, I’ve been running my mouth on TikTok and honestly? It’s been the funniest thing ever. Let’s talk all about it, cause mehnn we need to catch up for real 😭
