There seem to be two ways, seemingly opposing each other, yet co-existing: One is the age-old mantra many of us have heard from our parents’ and grand-parents’ generations: Be humble. Work hard to stay safe. Stay in control. Keep holding on to that safe job. Do as you’re told. Remember how lucky you are – we didn’t have it this comfortable, many others in this world hurt.
