Episode 7 of The Midnight Gospel takes place on Planet Blank Ball, though we end up interviewing Death inside of Clancy's own satchel.  Death takes us on a journey through Clancy's literal personal hell and teaches him, and us, how to deal with it.  In the season finally, Clancy talks with his mom about life: staying present, going with the flow, and the pain that is love.  Clancy's dog saves his life as reality breaks. Netflix’s new animated series, Midnight Gospel, takes us into the world, or worlds, of Clancy, a “Space Caster,” who goes on dystopian adventures through the multiverse to interview colorful characters for his video blog.  In episode 1, Clancy goes to a version of Earth with a zombie apocalypse.  He interviews the President, discussing different kinds of drugs and when, where, and how to appropriately use them.  In episode 2 Clancy and his guest are hunted and harvested for their meat, and yet still have a meaningful conversation about the afterlife and enlightenment.
