Talkin' Texas Podcast: Two Step Inn Preview 2026

Two Step Inn is an annual country music festival held in San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, Texas (north of Austin), dubbed the world's largest outdoor honky-tonk. The 2026 festival, held April 18-19, features stars like Chris Stapleton and Brooks & Dunn, featuring over 30 artists across three stages.

This month we reminisce about the wonderful experience we had in Elgin, the Sausage Capital of Texas, especially at Southside, where they have an old school sauce that takes Daniel back to his youth. We also discuss the new state park, Palo Pinto Canyon, and realize that there are a lot of ways a rattlesnake can bite you.

This month we are honored to have William Beckmann join us for the Talkin' Texas podcast. William is a country music singer-songwriter and musician from Del Rio, Texas. Having gained popularity touring in the regional Texas music scene and self-releasing four extended plays, Beckmann signed with Warner Music Nashville and subsequently released his major label debut, Whiskey Lies & Alibis, on June 20, 2025. His music is a fusion of neotraditional country, with influences of red dirt, tejano, New Mexico music, and traditional pop, with critics noting his signature crooner-style baritone voice. Beckmann has toured with Parker McCollum, Randy Rogers Band, Charley Crockett, Radney Foster, Flatland Cavalry, Midland, and Hank Williams Jr.
