His Analogue Discogue parties were a big inspiration. The tortured beauty of Deep House, juxtaposed with the ecstatic joy of Disco. The two related (but very different) genres, working together to bring out the best in both. Norm/Pash has been perfecting the craft of vinyl/rotary mixing for several decades, during which time he's also published a string of his own successful records.The best write-up I can give Pash/Norm is that he gets me dancing - yes, while I usually display all the dynamism of a sloth, Norm De Plume is one of that small handful of DJs who has gotten me moving in recent years.
