SOUL A:M RECORDS - THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY!

This production has been on my mind for a long time as earlier in the year I embarked on this Soul-Unique mission to revisit an excursion celebrating Groovy tunes that have made up part of or full blown motion picture sound tracks forever popular in the 1970s to 1990s on LPs or tapes.   Their popularity was enhanced further by their cover art depicting scenes that related to scenes or performing artists or backdrops that to this day play a pivotal role in immortalising the Art often hand drawn or photographed to provide instant visualised access to your cherished memories of what awaits inside the media. The movie scores cover many categories that were key to boosting a storyline like! A compilation of tracks featured in key points that make scenes memorable by boosting the scene with a track either written specifically for the movie or using  an artists already recorded release to invoke  an emotional impact or statement. A full blown score is often composed by either a composer or producer and creates both powerful and emotional elements that are laid over the movie 🍿using a orchestra enhancing the storyboard throughout the whole movie to often memorable effect, like the Godfather, Halloween, The warriors and Star Wars & Shaft, What’s your favourite! The Year, The Underground Raves began to fade...Due to the influence of the midnight Raves, Night clubs impacted the high street Disco pubs, Real DeeJays controlled far more than the tone and flow! More the Music and lights and the chosen places you chose to go... And soul releases both stateside and homegrown UK releases temporarily lost their clout to the imminent sounds of 88 House. The Year! Fashion once again became our Passion, B-Boys Breakin on your Mums Lino, Only thing! It was relocated to Londons Southbank's...Right next to the Dosser's & Tramps! Pirate Radio broadcast our hits from tower block High! To this day Delbert Wilkins comes to mind. meanwhile the mobile phone was released to irradiate our bodies! But thankfully not our souls...
