We pop back in-between film shoots to say hi for a short little mini! The historic Shinsekai Kokusai Gekijo is closing down! This repulsive grub hub of pink films and men skulking about for love has been a staple of Shinsekai for the last 75 years. Guy and Dave head there to pay their respects and watch LOOK INTO ME aka WIDOW'S PERVERTED HELL (1991), a usually impossible-to-see Hisayasu Sato film. This gender-swapped version of Stephen King classic MISERY is a true Tubi trip to hell, replete with a complete lack of foley, incomprehensible plotting, and fumbled lines left in the edit. Dave tries to make sense of who Daddy Love is, and we discover that this not only rips off just one film, but also M. Night Shyamalan's SPLIT. What a dumb way to finish off a very dumb season. JUNKO is a retelling of the horrifying Junko Furuta concrete-encased high school girl murder case... from India. Yes, you read that correctly... INDIA. From long baffling tangents to impromptu musical numbers, this is undoubtedly the most rotten film we've covered this season, leaving us both in a fit of inconsolable rage. This lethargic outing doesn't have that much in common with film it's supposedly a "rip-off" of, but it does feature the "world's smallest actor" dressed up as a very upsetting looking clown with a silly hat.
