What was good, bad and surprising from Saints' opening thriller

The New Orleans Saints' first Monday Night Football game at home in almost four years will be worth the spectacle, as it's the 20-year celebration of the Superdome's reopening after Hurricane Katrina, Steve Gleason's blocked punt and everything that followed in a joyous chapter of Saints history. Oh, and it's also a really big game on the field: The Saints' biggest rival, the Atlanta Falcons, come to town riding high after a victory in Green Bay, and first place in the NFC South is on the line. Can the Saints stop Bijan Robinson and the Falcons' rushing attack? Can Tyler Shough continue to carry the load for the New Orleans offense and limit mistakes? Our Saints Insiders break it all down — the game and the occasion — and give our predictions for Saints-Falcons on Monday Night Football. #saints #neworleanssaints #whodat #whodatnation #falcons #atlantafalcons #riseup #nfl #Nflweek4 #nflpicks #mnf #mondaynightfootball

Finally, the New Orleans Saints have their first home game of the 2026 season, and they'll come home to a rocking Superdome crowd fresh off their upset of the Baltimore Ravens last week. However, the Las Vegas Raiders won't roll over as the opponent. The Raiders come in at a surprising 2-0, flying high under new head coach Klint Kubiak — the former Saints offensive coordinator. Our Saints Insiders will break the game down, give some injury updates, give our keys to the game and make predictions. #saints #neworleanssaints #whodat #whodatnation #raiders #lasvegasraiders #raidernation #nfl #nflweek3

The LSU Tigers welcome the Texas A&M Aggies this weekend in a game that is no longer a battle of top-10 teams, but instead top-25 teams each coming off of a frustrating loss. Our LSU Insiders break down who has the edge when each team has the ball, which mercurial quarterback — Sam Leavitt or Marcel Reed — can avoid mistakes and why this year's Blake Baker defense may finally be able to break its A&M jinx. Finally, we make our picks for what might just be a College Football Playoff elimination game.  #lsu #lsutigers #lsufootball #geauxtigers #texasaggies #texasam #secfootball #collegefootball #ncaafootball #lanekiffin

After the New Orleans Saints' biggest win in years, a comeback 24-17 victory over the Baltimore Ravens, the Saints Insiders gather to talk about what got the Saints there — another clutch performance from Tyler Shough and his receivers, standout defensive and special teams performances — and where it could lead them as the schedule lightens up. There is some bad news: How will the Saints fare without left tackle Kelvin Banks, who requires surgery on his sprained ankle? What's the plan, and how much will it affect the offense? #saints #neworleanssaints #whodat #whodatnation #ravens #baltimoreravens #raiders #lasvegasraiders #nfl #nflweek3 #tylershough

After coming up a point short in overtime of their season opener against the Detroit Lions, the New Orleans Saints hit the road again, this time for a Week 2 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. How can the Saints contain Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry? What about the slow starts on offense? And what are the hidden keys to the game?  We'll discuss all that along with some injury updates and predictions as we get you set for Saints-Ravens on Sunday.  #saints #neworleanssaints #whodat #whodatnation #ravens #baltimoreravens #ravensflock #nfl #nflweek2 #tylershough #lamarjackson

There was a lot to dissect from the New Orleans Saints' season-opening 31-30 overtime loss to the Detroit Lions, and so the Saints Insiders had a mission for this episode: Re-watch the game and come up with their takeaways, positive and negative and everything in between, from the Saints' performance. We'll use that to look ahead to the Saints' game at the Baltimore Ravens this weekend and how our season-long expectations have changed. #saints #neworleanssaints #whodat #whodatnation #nfl #nflweek1 #nflweek2 #ravens #baltimoreravens #tylershough

The New Orleans Saints finally open their 2026 season on Sunday against the Lions in Detroit, kicking off a campaign that has fans excited but also still presents some serious question marks. Detroit will test those pressure points with its bevy of offensive weapons, including Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. How will the Saints defense respond? And what can the offense do against a beat-up Lions secondary in terms of keeping up? We'll answer those questions, give our keys to the game and make our Saints-Lions predictions on this episode. #saints #neworleanssaints #whodat #whodatnation #lions #detroitlions #onepride #nfl #nflweek1 #nflpicks
