The New Orleans Saints have their initial 53-man roster for the 2026 season after making a number of cuts and other moves Sunday. Jordyn Tyson and Jaylan Ford are on IR with designation to return. Devin Neal and Michael Heldman are on season-ending IR. Both backup quarterbacks are on the roster. Two kickers — Daniel Carlson and Tanner Brown — are both on the roster, too.

Various sports at LSU, most notably Lane Kiffin and the football team, are trying to bring back players who have participated in professional drafts or camps as a loophole in the NCAA's 5-in-5 rule.
