Patiently Projecting Prospect Proficiencies

The current number 1 overall prospect in the 2024/2025 NBA draft. I go through his profile, strengths, fits and why he's projected to go first overall.

This episode I run through a draft class update after the first week and a bit of NBA action. I also discuss potential trade targets, and identify which players are on the rise and who you might be able to snap up from concerned Dynasty coaches. Later, I discuss the 2024 NBA Draft class and discuss guys like Alexander Sarr, Ron Holland and Nikola Tropic.

It's right before my home league's Dynasty Rookie Draft for 2023/24 so this episode I talk about changes I've made to my 2023/24 Rookie Rankings after NBA Summer League, 2 weeks before the NBA Season begins. Some changes include lifting Amen Thompson's draft stock higher as well as other players like Scoot Henderson, Keyonte George & Grady Dick. Victor Wembanyama still stands tall at the #1 overall spot.

This episode I go through a handful of buy low and sell high opportunites specifically for NBA Dynasty Fantasy leagues. Players to target include Zion Williamson, Ben Simmons & Dyson Daniels. On the other hand some potential guys to try and trade are Jaden Ivey, Mikal Bridges and Jalen Green.

After the dust has somewhat settled after the NBA Lottery it's as good a time as any to release my mock. While this mock isn't specifically for Fantasy or Dynasty it still gives a good indication of where guys might end up and how that situation impacts the overall draft order. Wemby still obvioulsy gets picked 1st, but there's some contention at pick 2 and 3, which really sets the tone for the next few picks. In this episode, I make my final updates to the Punting Losses NBA Dynasty Bigboard. I explain why I'm cooling on the Thompson twins, which picks come with risk and which should be safe bets. This will be the last time I made changes (famous last words) to my bigboard before the draft, so hang tight and lets see how many players remain relevant and which fall out of favour.

This episode we look at who to target if you weren't able to snag one of the top 7 or 8 guys in the 2023 NBA Draft. So what if you missed Brandon Miller or Amen Thompson!? Keyonte George or Anthony Black "might" turn out to be the better prospect. I also share some trade targets in this offseason. Guys like Jalen Williams, Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duran can be massive adds if you can get them at the right price!

This episode I go through the top 20 prospects and which categories are their weaknesses and in what situations you'll want to avoid them. I also give some data on what draft picks are valued at over time, how much better the first pick is and how the draft can be hit or miss for anyone.
