Special guest, James Higgins, MD is the Chief of The Curtis National Hand Center at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Rochester, followed by hand fellowship at the Curtis National Hand Center. Among his many accomplishments he was a prior ASRM Godina fellow, ASSH Sterling Bunnell Traveling Fellow, and he currently serves as the vice president of the ASRM Council. He is widely published in hand surgery and upper extremity microsurgery and is a pioneer in upper extremity vascularized bone reconstruction.
