The fandom said yes, but Disney said no. However, Disney also said that Ben Solo is very dead....but we know how that goes in Star Wars. "Is anyone ever really gone?" (IE: Is any character ever really dead?) A majority of the fandom has been very loud and very clear on their desire to see Adam Driver and Steven Soderbergh's movie plans to bring back Ben Solo in a movie that takes place after "The Rise of Skywalker". We weigh in on our opinion of the movie, which - according to Driver - has been officially cancelled by Disney. But does that mean the movie plans are actually dead? Or is it like Palpatine, and it could somehow magically return? (SPOILERS IN THIS EPISODE!) We saw the trailer to "Lego Star Wars: Pieces of the Past" and got SUPER EXCITED when we saw we were getting - at least in *some* form - Sith Obi-Wan/Dark Side Obi-Wan/Evil Obi-Wan. We powered through the episodes of "Pieces of the Past" and waited anxiously for the big debut of Sith Obi-Wan...only to be disappointed by a very brief showing of this darker version of Obi-Wan. James Arnold Taylor (and honestly, ALL the voice actors/actresses) nailed the part, but we wanted more! Ahhh yes, fan fiction: where fans with (or without) writing talent come together to create stories about their favorite (or not so favorite) characters from their most cherished fandoms.
