For the last three and a half months I feel as if someone blew my candle out. I  had no motivation, no hope, and no desire to do anything, and it was awful. But my suffering is finally over, my candle has been relit and the old Becky is back! I never thought this would happen, but I feel back to my normal self and I am so grateful. My depression was intense during my first trimester, a cycle of hopelessness and no energy which made it really tricky for me to navigate. Finally revealing my pregnancy has been such a big relief because I can be honest about what I'm doing and what I'm struggling with during my pregnancy. Currently, I am in my second trimester and I am still dealing with lots of symptoms, and although I am not feeling 100%, I am trying my best especially as my body grows and changes. One aspect of my pregnancy that has been really interesting for me to dive into is in health, nutrition, and lifestyle. It has felt so empowering to me!
